During Spring Break '09, I went on a mission trip with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry to Missoula, Montana. This was a very small group of 15 people, so I had a much different experience than I had with the Jamaica mission trip.
On this trip, we worked as a team to spread friendliness through the acts of kind deeds. We performed construction at both the place we were staying and in other buildings in the city. We cleaned the house and cooked for the families who were staying at the Ronald McDonald house in Missoula. We painted one of the offices in a homeless shelter in the area. Also, we spread kindness at the University of Montana - Missoula by bringing breakfast to office workers there. As a reward for our duties, we were able to spend at day at Glacier National Park.
The picture below was taken while we were helping to improve the look of one of the offices in a homeless shelter/ soup kitchen.
